Chili Ski Fest

On Saturday, 27 February, the Paul Smith’s College VIC will host our annual chili tasting and fun-on-the-snow extravaganza.

The event will take place rain, sleet, snow, or hale – hopefully snow! Entry is $10 or free with the purchase of a ski pass.

In addition to a great feast of chili and corn bread prepared and served by Chef Sarah Longley and Paul Smith’s College culinary students, there will be ski and fat bike demonstrations, a naturalist-led snowshoe walk, and a waxing clinic.

The featured event will be a fun “Find the Gazebos” poker run, in which intrepid competitors on skis or snow shoes will be challenged to find the VIC’s seven gazebos, collecting a token at each one. Each token is exchanged for a card, followed by a poker game in the VIC Great Room.

Sunday afternoons are for music and fun in the outdoors at the VIC!

During the ski season, the Paul Smith’s College VIC will feature a variety of local musicians on most Sunday afternoons from 1:00 to 3:00 PM in the VIC Great Room. Grab your skis, boots, and poles and head to the VIC for a fun afternoon of skiing and music. Free with day or season pass. Supported by Friends of the VIC.
